Appointed Member Opportunities
The College of Opticians of Ontario is seeking members for Appointed Non-Council member positions commencing in January of 2009. Serving as an Appointed Member of the College offers a unique opportunity for Opticians to become involved with their regulatory body. The positions run for a two-year term. All Appointed Members serve on the Discipline Committee and are eligible to sit on other Committees of the College. Appointed Members receive a per diem for attendance at meetings as well as for incurred expenses. Committees of the College typically meet six times per year for full day meetings

Following assessment of all applicants, interviews will be arranged with the Executive Committee. Successful candidates will begin their two-year term on January 1, 2009. To be eligible for consideration you must be currently registered and in good standing with the College.
