Student Renewal
Applications are mailed by July 1 of each year to the member’s last known
address.
Renewal as a Student Optician is from September 1 to September 1 of each year.
Fees
Payment by cheque, money order, certified cheque,
Visa or MasterCard in the amount of $106.00 (which includes GST). Any cheques
returned by the bank or credit card transactions which cannot be processed or
are declined will incur a $40.00 administration charge, and may be considered as
late.
Renewal must be received on or before September
1 or a late renewal fee of $53.00 will be charged.
Payment is processed upon receipt; however, this
does not imply that your application has been approved. Once the College of
Opticians receives official confirmation of your enrolment in Georgian or Seneca
Colleges, your application for renewal will be processed. We expect confirmation
from Georgian or Seneca Colleges by mid-October regarding your current status.
Student opticians are entitled to a maximum of
four renewals
