CONVICTIONS 2003

On November 20, 2003, two individuals, Parveen Chadha and Irvin Chadha, pled guilty to performing the controlled act of dispensing without being registered Members of the College of Opticians of Ontario. In accordance with a joint submission, the court gave both individuals a suspended sentence with one year’s probation and fines in total of $3,500.
 

& Chadha’s Holdings Limited located in Brampton pled guilty to charges of being the employer of unregistered individuals on November 20, 2003. In accordance with a joint submission the court sentenced Chadha’s Holding Limited to a fine of $2,500.
